As part of the Delegate Advisors mission to encourage its employees to positively contribute to society, Morgan Tarr, Director of Advisory Services at Delegate Advisors, has elected to participate in The Northern California Region of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2021 Woman of the Year Team.

Morgan will join an elite group of community business leaders as they compete to raise funds for blood cancer research from March 24 to June 2, 2021. The group that raises the most funds during the 10-week campaign will be subsequently awarded the titles of Greater Bay Area Man & Woman of the Year at a Grand Finale on June 2, 2021.

Like many of you, Morgan witnessed first-hand the debilitating effects that leukemia and lymphoma can have on those suffering from blood cancers, as well as the family and friends who support them. She is honored to be a part of the challenge in memory of dear friends who have been lost to cancer.

“Through programs like Man & Woman of the Year, LLS has invested more than $1.3 billion in research to advance breakthrough therapies. In 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved 17 therapies to treat patients with blood cancer, 14 of which were funded by LLS,” says Renée Croteau, LLS’s Northern California Chapter Executive Director. “But there’s still more work to be done. Our Man & Woman of the Year candidates embody the idea that any individual can make a difference with hard work and dedication. Finding cures takes us all.”

LLS is the world’s leading non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers and ensuring that patients have access to lifesaving treatments. To learn more about this fundraising effort to fight against blood cancers or to make a donation, click here.
